This is my (Marcus) personal project to explore the world. Often, when I was on the road, I had to pull out serveral websites and apps and piece together the information of what's around me. Back in the days Atlas Obscura had no app and Roadside America was a pain to use. So I started to pull these two sources together. Over time I found many other sources and added them. They are all credited and I own nothing. Not even my own edits or contributions, because most of the time it's licenced under creative commons. So this is not a commercial product. It has no ads, tracking or booking opportunities. It's about art, culture, history and to discover my surroundings - in the real world and virtually.
Attention! Data might be stale and is rarely updated! I update only the places I visited, because this acts as my personal travellog as well. Visit places at your own risk and do your own research before you go!
